Vow & Veil was born out of a love for meaningful moments, well-thought-out details, and the magic that happens when two people say yes to forever. We’re Megan and Lauren—cousins, close friends, and passionate planners who believe weddings should be as unique as the love they celebrate.
What started as a personal love for event planning quickly became something more. We know how overwhelming the process can feel, and we’re here to change that. With a focus on intentionality and connection, we offer full-service wedding planning and day-of coordination that’s tailored to you.
Our approach is rooted in trust, organization, and balance—we limit the number of weddings we take on each year so every couple gets our full focus. From the quiet little details to the big, beautiful moments, we’re here to bring your vision to life with warmth, clarity, and care.

My name is Megan Skinner
Hi, I’m Megan—wedding planner, detail enthusiast, Starbucks lover, and proud co-founder of Vow & Veil. My love for planning weddings started during one of the most special times in my own life: planning my October 2023 wedding. I quickly realized I wasn’t just passionate about organizing timelines and designing color palettes—I was passionate about helping others feel calm, confident, and celebrated during such a meaningful season.
With a background in marketing and years of experience in client-focused work, I bring a creative mind, a steady hand, and a heart for service to every wedding I plan. I understand how important this day is—and how important it is to feel supported throughout the process.
As a new mom, I also deeply value balance, boundaries, and being present. That’s why I only take on a small number of weddings each year—so I can give each couple the attention, care, and intention they deserve. You’re not just hiring a planner—you’re gaining a cheerleader, a calming presence, and someone who’s truly invested in your big day.

My name is Lauren Pomerleau
Hi, I’m Lauren—co-founder of Vow & Veil, newly engaged to my fiancé Reed, and dog mom to the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. As someone currently planning my own wedding, I know firsthand how exciting (and overwhelming!) this process can be. That’s why I’m passionate about helping couples feel supported, heard, and truly at ease as they plan one of the most meaningful days of their lives.
With a career background in Human Resources, I bring strong organization, communication, and people-first skills to every wedding I help coordinate. I’m all about creating calm in the chaos, solving problems before they ever reach you, and making sure every detail feels intentional and true to your story.
Partnering with my cousin Megan to bring Vow & Veil to life has been such a dream. Together, we balance creativity and structure, heart and humor—and we can’t wait to walk alongside you during this exciting season.
